A Star Wars NFT screenplay based on NFT YETI Strong Club
The TL;DR
Yeti Strong Club NFT had a contest. I won. Here is the short short below:
EXTERIOR — Planet HOTH
A dark brooding vessel moves through space and deploys Imperial probes to look for rebel scum. As the probes are deployed you can see one hurling toward planet Hoth. It moves through the atmosphere and makes an impact in the snow in a loud explosion — melting away the ice. A small rock appears with the following symbols.
EXTERIOR — HOTH Planet Surface
A man bundled in clothes is riding some sort of horse called a Tauntan. It is 20 degrees below zero and the man seems to be searching for downed wreckage. During his patrol, he heard an explosion and begins searching this frozen wasteland for the crash site. After 30 minutes, he comes upon the site where he stops and jumps off his horselike creature.
Luke
Han, do you copy. I found some wreckage out here.
Han
I copy. I thought you were just out doing your daily patrol. Nothing lives out in this cold.
Luke
It looks like a malfunctioned Imperial probe crashed. Nothing here. I am coming back.
Han
See you shortly, Kid. Be safe.
Luke is about to jump on his Tauntan when he senses something in the shadows. A giant ICE YETI called a Wampa jumps at him and before Luke can grab his lightsaber, he is knocked out. The ICE YETI (Wampa) drags Luke towards the rock with the YETI symbols and kneels down and starts to cry. A few hundred feet in the distance lay the bodies of his family. The Imperial probe crashed into his home killing his family. In his utter despair, he thinks Luke is responsible and will exact his revenge. The Wampa looks over his shoulder and speaks Yeti language.
Wampa:
Speaks this symbol.
(Translated) — Water Lily please come. Out of the snow appears a baby water YETI named Water Lily. His daughter survived. They grab hands.
The ICE YETI looks away from his lost family and towards his daughter. He tells her he will find out who is responsible for the death of his family and gather all four factions to fight the enemy and bring honor back to the ICE YETI Clan. He grabs her hand and drags Luke away into the frozen tundra.
